If you are one smart cookie and you wish to join a Think Tank perhaps you are wondering if you need to be a certain religion or political party? Well in my humble opinion, anyone who asks you to change your belief system to join their Think Tank is using you. Thus the famous quote comes into play;
Why Would I Wish to Join a Group that Would Have Me as a Member?
Let me explain, I run a Think Tank and I happen to be a Realist, Capitalist and Republican/Libertarian. I believe in strength, honor and integrity and denounce PC and hand holding for those who will not plant the wheat, harvest or bake it to eat. I belief excuses, pettiness, whimpering and weakness are evil.
I denounce over lawyering and bureaucracy and I have thousands of personal experiences, observations and stories to show why without any selective reading or linear based BS to prove myself correct.
But “HEY” let’s be friends and stop fighting over the means so we can win in the ends.
In fact, I completely dismiss the notion that the “Modern Liberal” movement bares any resemblance to the dictionary definition of “Liberalism” of founding fathers. I find so much hypocrisy in politics, that I refuse to swim in the water anymore on any side. So, that is me, and we have folks on all sides of the political spectrum.
The point I am trying to make here is everyone has knowledge, insight and observation, they all have the ability to think, reason and problem solve. So if you got all that, you are good as gold, if not, well, I certainly wouldn’t want you in our think tank whether you agreed with me on all points or not.
